Down the Rabbit Hole Therapies

If you're tired of pretending you're fine and ready to start talking about what’s really going on, Down the Rabbit Hole Therapies is here.

You don't have to carry it all alone anymore.

Down the Rabbit Hole Therapies

At Down the Rabbit Hole Therapies, we offer a grounded, real-world approach to counselling and psychotherapy in Kerry. Life doesn’t come with instructions. And when things get heavy, sometimes all you need is a space where you can talk, be heard, and not be judged. We offer that space. We help you untangle the knot so you can start feeling like yourself again or discover who that is.

My name is Aisling Cahill, and I work directly with clients across Kerry and West Limerick. You don’t need to have the perfect words. You don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need to show up, as you are.

I don’t sugar-coat. I won’t tell you what to do. But I will walk beside you, speak the truth, and challenge the beliefs that are holding you back.

My style is conversational, direct, and honest. I’ll encourage you to look at things from other angles. I’ll show you how to self-soothe, how to feel safer in your body, and how to hold space for your emotions without being crushed by them.

I work especially well with people who’ve tried therapy before and found it too soft, too vague, or too structured. If that’s been your experience, we might be a good fit.

I specialise predominantly with complex psychological issues such as PTSD, abuse, grief, and chronic illness. Get in touch and let’s have a chat. There’s no pressure or obligation.

Counselling Kerry

Counselling is for anyone. You don’t need a crisis. You don’t need a diagnosis. You just need a willingness to talk and be honest with yourself.

I work with people who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, angry, lost, numb, afraid, and everything in between. Many of my clients are women navigating complex, painful life experiences—abuse, grief, chronic illness, abortion, identity issues, and more. I also work with men who want a straightforward, honest approach without any of the fluff.

Together, we talk through what’s happening for you, and we look at it from different angles. There’s no judgment. Just truth. And from truth, healing starts.

Psychotherapy Kerry

Psychotherapy goes deeper. If counselling is the first step, psychotherapy is about what comes next. You’ll learn how past experiences—some of them buried or brushed aside—still play a part in how you think, feel, and behave today.

This is the space where real shifts happen. You might come in with PTSD, trauma from sexual abuse or domestic violence, or long-term emotional wounds. You’ll leave with a stronger sense of yourself and tools you can use outside the therapy room.

I’m here to keep it real with you. To ask the questions others don’t. To help you look at the parts you’ve ignored, without shame. It’s hard work, but it works.

Integrative Therapy

I don’t believe in a rigid framework. People aren’t templates. That’s why I use an integrative therapy model. This means I pull from different methods depending on what’s useful for you.

You might need to talk things out. Or you might benefit more from visual or creative approaches. Some people need to move slowly. Others want to dive straight in. We move at your pace. What matters is that you feel safe, understood, and supported.

We won’t follow a script. We’ll follow what’s real.

Trauma Healing

Trauma isn’t just the big stuff. It’s anything that overwhelms your system and leaves a mark. And it doesn’t go away just because time passes.

I specialise in trauma healing that gets to the root of the issue—gently, carefully, and without forcing you into a place you’re not ready to go. Whether you’re carrying trauma from childhood, abuse, assault, neglect, or something you can’t even name, we’ll work together to name it, understand it, and reduce its hold on you.

You’ll learn how to regulate your body, calm your nervous system, and start feeling safe—inside yourself.

Energy Healing

Sometimes talking isn’t enough. Sometimes trauma lives in the body and needs to be released on a deeper level. That’s where energy healing comes in.

I offer intuitive, grounded energy work that helps clear emotional blockages, reduce stress, and reconnect you to yourself. This is especially useful if you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed in ways you can’t explain.

Energy healing is gentle, but powerful. It’s not about fixing you. It’s about helping you remember who you are underneath the noise.

Group Therapy

There’s something powerful about hearing “me too” from a stranger. That’s why I offer group therapy. These are small, supportive groups where you can share your experiences, hear others’ stories, and learn together.

It’s a space to build community, speak openly, and realise that you’re not the only one who’s felt what you’re feeling. For many, it’s a game-changer.

Group sessions focus on themes like trauma recovery, self-worth, relationships, and emotional resilience. If you’re tired of doing it all on your own, group work might be what you need.

Art Therapy (Jung)

Not everything can be explained. Not everything needs to be. Jungian Art Therapy gives you a way to explore your inner world through symbols, drawings, and creative expression.

You don’t need to be an artist. This isn’t about creating something beautiful. It’s about creating something real. Something that lets us get beneath the surface.

Art therapy can uncover insights, patterns, and feelings that words sometimes miss. It’s especially useful for deep trauma work, identity exploration, and connecting with your unconscious.
